The deuterated chloroform and methylenchloride solutions of ZnX2(C10H24N4) (X=Cl, BH4; C10H24N4=1,4,8,11-tetraasocyclotetradecane) were studied by 1H, 11B, 13C and 14N NMR spectroscopy, as well as the solution of ligand itself. The conformational data obtained were compared with the data of RStA for ZnCl2(C10H24N4). It was determined that these compounds have zinc atom shifted from the center of the ligand molecule in the crystalline form, but not in solution.
